The Littlest Helper

Did I mention she's a little gal? Okay, she's no Chihuahua and the groomer classifies her as "medium" - the nerve! But in pittie circles, Daisy is on the small side.

Weighing in at 46 pounds, this velvet house hippo loves scratches, sniff walks and playing tug. Her favorite blanket is a Costco faux fur fifteen dollar special that I bought on a whim. She loved it so much, I went back and bought one for every room because she is actually quite picky when in comes to what surface she sleeps on. And that reminds me of another story I'll save for the next Daisy update.

Velcro Dog

Have you heard the phrase "velcro dog"? This little girl is my first experience with a dog that just wants to be physically connected to me (or anyone, really) at all times of the day. It was a major adjustment for me and 2 years in I'm still learning more about her needs and wants. She's also eased up some and can nap by herself though she still adamant about "couch time" after her breakfast.

If by chance she's not under someone's elbow, her back is turned, there's a big sigh and we know we've done something wrong. What an adorable little diva.
